Teacher’s Day

Teaching is the art of changing lives, inspiring minds, touching lives and making a difference not just in a student’s life but in shaping the society and country as a whole.

In order to salute the teachers for their unwavering and relentless impact, the students of Al-Ameen Institute of Management Studies celebrated Teacher’s Day on 5th Sep 2023. The programme commenced with recitation of Qirath by Aarafath Khan, MBA student. Mohammed Faheem, a MBA student welcomed the teachers with warm, heartening and gratifying words to express their gratitude for the teachers’ patience, passion and commitment to ensure that each student’s life blossoms with success. Danish Armar, a BBA student paid homage to the Former President of India, Dr. S Radhakrishnan and spoke about his life, philosophy and contribution as an educationist & teacher.

On the occasion, Dr. B. A. Anuradha, Principal spoke on the responsibilities of teachers in handholding the students towards success and surpassing the students’ perceptions every step of the way. She defined the different roles a teacher plays in shaping a student viz., a) Adhaypak as the one who gives information; b) Upadhya is one who combines information and knowledge; c) Pundit is one who has deep and profound knowledge; d) Dhrusta is one with a visionary view; e) Acharya is one who imparts training based on skills and f) Guru is one who awakens wisdom and enlightens. On the occasion she remembered the Founder of Al-Ameen Movement, Late Dr. Mumtaz Ahmed Khan Saheb and his visionary leadership, passion and contribution to education.

An array of Cultural programmes and games were organized for the faculty. Tasmiya Yasmeen, a MBA student compered the programme while Noor Fathima, a MBA student proposed vote of thanks.
