“Dr. K Rahman Khan Interactive Learning Classroom” was inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Mrs.Ayesha Rahman, who is committed to the cause of education as a means to give back to the community, society & country. She is the Trustee of KKECT which runs Delhi Public School in Bangalore & Mysore for the past 16 years. In her address, she wished that the present youngsters managing Al-Ameen Educational Society follow the footsteps of the Founder, Late Dr. Mumtaz Ahmed Khan & Dr.K. Rahman Khan and grow from strength to strength achieving unity & success in all its endeavours.
This was followed by dua’a by Moulana Mohammed Khizer Saheb. Dr. B. A. Anuradha, Principal, Al-Ameen Institute of Management Studies delivered the welcome address. She spoke about the visionary, our Founder, Late Dr.Mumtaz Ahmed Khan & about Dr. K. Rahman Khan who was the Former Deputy Chairman, Rajya Sabha & Former Union Minister of Minority Affairs, GOI & he has served the country in various capacities across his political career of 40 years. She said that he was the first Muslim Chartered Accountant of Karnataka. He has been involved with several trusts and foundations for promoting education and uplifting the weaker sections of society, including minorities in southern India since his Mantra is to prioritize education for the all-round development of not only an individual but society & country as the whole. She said with Interactive Learning, teachers can focus on mentoring, motivating and fostering creativity and critical thinking in students in the most effective of ways.
Mr. Umar Ismail Khan, Chairman, Al-Ameen Educational Society presided over the event. He said it was a dream to sit in such a classroom. He said that technological advancement is all pervasive, thus the need to realize its potential in the classrooms is the need of the hour. An effective and contemporary educational system can transform our country. We need to empower our youth to help themselves so that they can make a vital contribution in the nation's growth and prosperity. He was very happy to note that all the institutions under the banner of Al-Ameen Educational Society have grown, especially in terms of infrastructural development although we offer affordable fees for all our courses. He appreciated the hard work put in by the staff. His message for the youngsters is to set their wings high and work for the wider society with peaceful coexistence.
Vote of thanks was proposed by Mr. Zubair Anwar, Hon. Secretary, Al-Ameen Educational Society. He thanked the Almighty first & said that walking into this room is a Dream turned into reality. He said that it is imperative that we as educationists take the lead in anticipating and understanding the complexities and challenges that technology will bring to the academic landscape. Progress & success can only be achieved by addressing challenges, and moving ahead by adopting an AI-across-the-curriculum approach. He thanked all the Executive Council Members of Al-Ameen Educational Society for their support and presence today and also the heads of colleges for their presence. Last but not the least, he praised all the staff for their dedication & hard work.
