Graduates, learning and growing alongside has been the joy of a lifetime, Watching all the students shine in their strengths, embrace moments of growth, become fuller versions of themselves, and uplift one another along the way has been fulfilling. Each and every student has led in ways that are unique and authentic, and for that, we are in total awe.
Today, 26th Aug 2023 is about making memories, walking with friends, celebrating together, and taking in the moment before embarking past all the training and hard work to a life that beholds success for each one of our students as we celebrate your Graduation Day.
At a time of great change, immense challenges and well-being of people around the world being a concern; skills, abilities and zeal to pave new paths and discover new ways & ideas have never been more important. “Our budding Graduates are the New Guardians of the Galaxy”.
The Graduation day commenced with recitation from the Quran by Mohammed Tahir, a BBA student.
The Principal,Dr. B. A. Anuradha in her welcome address spoke on the academic accomplishments, the various programmes introduced to seed the talents & skills of the students and details of the myriad developments to ensure that the students as well as the institute grows and make a difference, and alongside foster diversity, inclusion and outreach activities.
The Principal spoke about the legacy of an effective knowledge delivery system at Al-Ameen, and said that she is confident that the Class of 2023 sees a future where they can serve as advocates and leaders of the corporate world. She quoted N. R. Narayana Murthy , Founder of Infosys “A clear conscience is the softest pillow in the world” .
The Chief Guest,Dr. K S Narayanaswamy , President of Bangalore Management Association congratulated the students and said that now onwards, as a graduate there will be a different perspective of seeing the world. He narrated his journey as an inspiration & encouragement for the students. He asked the students to seize every opportunity presented to them with faith, passion and dedication since the world provides lot of potential, and innovative thinking will help you face the challenges ahead and fulfill the aspirations of their parents.
The Chief Guest,Mr Raghu C Rajappa , Honorary Consul of the Republic of Poland who holds distinguished positions both in Poland & India and has lately coordinated a MOU between Bangalore University and Warsaw University, Poland in 2022 in his speech congratulated the parents for providing their children with the opportunity to study at such a prestigious institute such as Al-Ameen. He spoke about the educational & industrial opportunities in Poland especial as Management students and asked the students to feel free to contact him for higher studies or job opportunities in Poland. He advised the students to chase their dreams, do everything from the heart, focus on their capabilities and they are sure to achieve success.
In his remarks, the Guest of Honour,Mr. Iqbal Baig, Executive Committee Member, Al-Ameen Educational Society said that Al-Ameen has excellent facilities and brilliant teachers who have polished them into gems and now it is the responsibility of each student to give back to the community, society and the country. He said that like every drop makes an ocean, each individual contribution will make a world of difference. He asked the students to take up government service too as a part of nation building. He informed the students about the SSC programme in the campus which will be starting in the 3rd week of August 2023.
The Hon. Secretary,Mr. Zubair Anwar in his presidential address said he was honored to have this opportunity to address the gathering today as we celebrate the accomplishments of this year’s graduates — and the growth and impact of the programs offered at Al-Ameen. He said that Al-Ameen is an NGO who has the welfare of the students at heart and that we do not work on commercial lines and so we offer affordable courses.
He said that we are so proud of our students, and know that as they head out with degrees in hand, they are ready to do great things. We cannot wait to see what you accomplish. He further added that “ As you graduate today, you stand with the world at a crossroads and we need you, the next generation of leaders, to harness your knowledge and passion. This is a pivotal moment and a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to advance your work, your dream and the human condition and rebuild an extraordinary society. He asked the students to uphold the ideals of the institute and that their contribution to the society and their accolades will deter the progress and success of the institute. He praised the parents for their efforts and unstinted support to their wards.
He spoke about Late Dr Mumtaz Ahmed Khan , the Founder of Al-Ameen Movement as his source of inspiration, that dreams can be achieved with hard work, dedication, passion and perseverance. We are all here today as “alameenians” because of Late Dr. Mumtaz Ahmed Kan who worked relentlessly to make all our lives better. He said “to start with, you too can accumulate ordinary deeds, but from the ordinary done over time, relentlessly, generously, faithfully you too will accumulate an extraordinary life, that will lead you to success”.
He took the opportunity to thank the donors of Al-Ameen Scholarship Committee who have made it possible for so many students to dream big and achieve their goals.
He advised the students to take their life to the next level and join the MBA programme at Al-Ameen as an additional benefit & to boost their career. He wished all the students the Best for a Safe & Blessed Life ahead.
All the Graduates administered a pledge which was followed by distribution of awards and certificates by the Guests to the Graduates. A lunch was also hosted for the students and their parents. An evening of cultural extravaganza was organized by the students and faculty.
Vote of thanks was proposed by the Vice Principal, Mr. Abdul Rizwan Shariff who conveyed his heartfelt gratitude and deep appreciation to the Chief Guests, Dr. K S Narayanaswamy & Mr Raghu C Rajappa; Mr. Zubair Anwar, Hon. Secretary;Dr. B. A. Anuradha, Principal;Mr. Iqbal Baig & Mr. Zaffar Ulla Khan, Executive Council Members; and Mr. Mohammed Zulfikar Ali, Joint Secretary, Bangalore Division, Al-Ameen Educational Society; for sharing words of wisdom and for the unstinted support and encouragement.
