BBA Graduation Day on 30th of June 2026 was a momentous occasion marked by joyous celebrations and bittersweet farewells. Dressed in their academic regalia, graduates gather with family, and friends to commemorate their academic achievements. The programme commenced with the recitation of the Qirath by Dr. Mohammed Wajid, faculty.
Dr. B. A. Anuradha, Principal extended a warm welcome to the guest, students and parents. Her address set the tone for a memorable and inspiring day. She advised the students to keep in mind that when someone tells you that you are not intelligent, remember that Walt Disney was fired for lack of creativity; when you feel that you are not successful remember that Henry Ford went bankrupt with two companies before creating Henry Ford Company; when you feel like giving up remember that Coca Cola sold a handful of bottles in the first year; when someone tells you that your product is useless remember that Harry Potter was rejected 12 times. She asked the students to remember the things that money can’t buy like health, love, time, she said that indeed money will not solve every problem but it certainly helps reduce 80% of your life's stress. She asked the students not to surrender themselves to the apps and devices as you will be weakening your cognitive and critical skills. The esteemed guests were also felicitated on the occasion.
A motivational Speech by our Chief Guest, Prof. Selvam Jesiah, Principal, Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education & Research, Chennai aimed at encouraging the graduating students to embrace their professional journeys with confidence, compassion, and commitment. He shared valuable experiences with the students, expressing heartfelt gratitude to the proud parents who had toiled hard & made many sacrifices. He also shed light on the promising scope in the future for the budding graduates and urged the students to invest in hard work, be ambitious, be committed, take ownership & responsibility, develop character and stay positive. He was all praises for the Founder, Al-Ameen Movement, Late Dr. Mumtaz Ahmed Khan, a mission-driven leader who set the stage to ensure that Al-Ameen consistently delivers for the Best of Humanity & prioritizes the betterment of the society over the past 55 years. He ended his address by quoting Microsoft CEO, Mr. Satya Nadella "Each of us must find meaning in our work. The best work happens when you know that it's not just work, but something that will improve other people's lives”.
The Guest of Honour, Dr. C. Manohar, Chairman, Indian Society for Training & Development, Bangalore Chapter stated that “it is the beginning of your responsibility as educated citizens, professionals, and future leaders”. He shared a few principles of life – “Cherish the Freedom Given by Our Constitution; Let Education Become a Lifelong Companion; Stay Awake, Stay Aware, Stay Aligned with the values of integrity, discipline, and national development, your success should strengthen not only your family but also your community and your country; Accept Diversity and Build Bridges not walls; and lastly Aspire, Achieve, & Give Back to the society”. These life principles will serve as a wonderful reminder to embrace knowledge, respect our differences, and uplift the community around us only then your achievements will have a purpose beyond yourself, he added.
Mr. Zubair Anwar, Hon. Secretary, Al-Ameen Educational Society & Guest of Honour congratulated each one of the graduating students & their parents and conveyed his warm sentiments & dua’as wishing absolute best that life has to offer, motivating the students & uplifting them, blending hope, success, and profound goodwill. He shared his timeless philosophy with the students – “Dedicate yourself to the success of your family, institution, and community—while also taking care of your own growth—creates a ripple effect of positive impact”. He shared with the graduates that the Founder, Late Dr. Mumtaz Ahmed Khan’s life was defined by the mission "to give," this dedication has transformed into a powerful ripple effect. He said that the Founder’s attitude is grounded in selfless service, while his vision centers on uplifting the community rather than personal gain. He advised the students to give back to the society by helping other students for their studies; this philosophy will draw success to your doorsteps, he iterated. He praised the Principal, Dr. B. A. Anuradha and her team for their hard work and encouraging a culture of support.
Mr. Umar Ismail Khan, Chairman, Al-Ameen Educational Society in his presidential remarks said that hard work is a key for improving professional career and life, as there is no shortcut to it. His powerful message was meant to remind the graduates that life's inevitable ups and downs serve as valuable building blocks. By standing firm through adversity, maintaining relentless focus, and working hard, the graduates can successfully navigate challenges and turn any setback into an opportunity for growth. He asked them to scale their efforts, scale their skills, and give back to the society; he said that it is utmost important to respect parents, take their blessing, to look after them with care & serve them and you will definitely prosper in this world and the hereafter which are the core of Islamic teachings.
The Principal, administered the oath to the graduates. The guests distributed awards celebrating the outgoing student’s academic excellence. Certificates were also given away to all the graduating students, marking the culmination of their academic journey.
Ms. Afia & Mr. Mohammed Danish were declared as the “Students of the Year” while Ms. Sufiya Siddiqua, Mr. J Mohammed Zaid, Mr. Mohammed Ismail & Ms. Madiha Fathima were presented with the “Best Student Award”.
The Vice-Principal, Dr. Abdul Rizwan Shariff offered a vote of thanks, formally and warmly expressing gratitude to the guests and everyone who contributed to making the event a success.
This was followed by lunch and cultural programmes. Amidst cheers and applause, graduates bid adieu to their alma mater, embarking on new journeys filled with promise and aspiration. Graduation Day symbolizes the conclusion of years of hard work and dedication, marking the beginning of a new chapter in the graduates’ lives.
