As a mark of respect and tribute to Late Dr. Ahmed Shariff Siraj, Vice-Chairman, Al-Ameen Educational Society who passed away on 9th Feb 2026, the Hon.Secretary, Al-Ameen Educational Society requested all the audience to offer their condolence.
The Inauguration ceremony on 10th Feb 2026 commenced with recitation of Qirath by our faculty, Dr. Mohammed Wajid.
Dr. B. A. Anuradha, Principal, Al-Ameen Institute of Management Studies in her welcome address spoke about the Odyssey of Life, sharing from experience that “Knowledge decides what to say; Skill decides how to say; Attitude decides how much to say & Wisdom decides whether to say or not”. She said that in essence, Al-Ameen Institute of Management Studies is where “Values Meet Excellence” and that our selling proposition is “A German Quality Education at a Chinese Price in India”.
The Chief Guest, Prof. Dr. Madhurani Gowda, Director - Federation of Karnataka Chamber of Commerce & Industries (FKCCI); Hon. Jt. Secretary - Bangalore Management Association (BMA) & Changemaker President, Rotary Club of Bengaluru said that management fests add significant value to a student's academic and professional journey by bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application. Applying AI to learn new technology is the need of the hour. She said that taking up competitions is essential for growth, irrespective of success or failure and it’s important to review yourself everyday so that you can “Be a Better You”. She wished all the participants a vibrant & colourful future.
Mr. Zubair Anwar, Hon. Secretary, Al-Ameen Educational Society in his presidential remarks praised Al-Ameen Institute of Management Studies as “The Jewel in the Crown” of Al-Ameen Group of Colleges. He said that we at Al-Ameen have taken up a comprehensive approach to creating a better learning environment for our students by upgrading our facilities & imparting quality education. We encourage our students to take up competitions since it prepares the students for the future, both individually & collectively. This he said helps forward-looking and risk-taking individuals, paving the way for new ideas that promote growth. He asked the students to always remember that team players are the best candidates for future team leaders.
Students from various colleges of Bengaluru attended these events on the first day with great enthusiasm, showcasing practical skills, fostering networking, and promoting student innovation, particularly within business and management faculties.
Dr. Abdul Rizwan Shariff, Vice-Principal expressed gratitude to the Chief Guest, Hon. Secretary, Principal and the participants from other colleges for taking time out. Food stalls offering quick bites & starters transformed the campus into a vibrant, buzzing & entrepreneurial environment on both the days.
Cultural competitions were held on 11th Feb 2026 featuring singing, dancing (solo, duet & team participation) & fashion show. Students from various colleges of Bengaluru showcased diverse talent, fostering creativity & cultural heritage expressions.
List of colleges who participated in the event were St. Joseph’s University, Abbas Khan Degree College for Women, Krupanidhi College of Commerce & Management, BET Sadathunnisa Degree College, SB College of Management Studies, St. Anne’s First Grade College for Women, Al-Ameen Arts, Science & Commerce College, Sindhi College, C B Bhandari Jain College, R C College of Commerce & Management, International Institute of Business Studies (IIBS) and Al-Ameen Institute of Management Studies.
The Fest concluded with a valedictory function. Qirath was recited by Mr.Mohammed Ismail, BBA student. Prof. K.N. Godamani, Former Member, Academic Council, BCU was the Chief Guest. She commended the work done at Al-Ameen, where education goes beyond books. She said that Management Fests are the best platform for experiential learning & to develop leadership qualities under pressure. She congratulated all the participants, & the winners and advised the students to always Dream Big, since Big Dreams are not just about the final outcome; they are about fostering a mindset of determination, faith, and continuous improvement.
Prizes were distributed to the winners; the overall trophy was given to IIBS College.
