77th Republic Day Celebrations

Al-Ameen joined the nation in celebrating the 77th Republic Day as a tribute to the day our Constitution came into force, shaping India into a democratic republic, a monumental transition from British colonial rule to self governed sovereign state.

Festivities commenced with the traditional flag hoisting, guard of honor by our NCC cadets and singing of National Anthem.

The Chief Guest, Col. Anirudh Prasad, an Ex Indian Army officer with over 24 years of service, in his inspiring speech highlighted the 10 Life Lesson - The Little Things that can Change your Life …. And Maybe the World :

  1. Start your day with a small task like making your own bed.
  2. Team Work & Collective Efforts - You cannot change the world alone.
  3. Size of Your Heart matters - Respect everyone, regardless of their background or physical stature.
  4. Life is not always fair & don’t be afraid of struggles, accept it and keep going.
  5. Don’t be afraid of Failures, since failures and challenges are necessary as they teach you life lessons.
  6. Stand up to bullies, face danger and always stand up for what is right
  7. Be your very best in the darkest moments: Rise to the occasion, life is not always easy, so maintain composure and focus when things are at their worst.
  8. Give hope and inspire others during difficult times.
  9. Never give up on your goals, no matter how hard things get, resilience and persistence are critical for achieving long-term success.
  10. When Life knocks you down, take risks and tackle challenges with courage

On this occasion, Dr. Shaista Yusuf an eminent Urdu poet & prose writer was felicitated for her contribution to Urdu Literature & two students were also felicitated along with their parents for playing a role in Brand building of Al-Ameen through their YouTube videos.

Mr. Umar Ismail Khan, Chairman, Al-Ameen Educational Society in his presidential address said that we should be proud to be a part of this great nation, manifest patriotism through profound loyalty towards the country, dedication to its welfare, culture & values, get involved in nation building, take up active responsibility by obeying laws, paying taxes & contributing to community well being by helping & supporting each other and never fall prey to the negative propaganda spread by the media.

The celebrations continued with grandeur, featuring cultural performances and patriotic fervor.

The event drew a large crowd of dignitaries including the Guest of Honour, Mr.Zubair Anwar, Hon. Secretary & Executive Council Members of the Al-Ameen Educational Society; Principals, staff and parents, all uniting to honor India's cultural heritage and democratic spirit. The celebrations concluded with vote of thanks.
